It often seems like Buffalo can’t stay out of the national conversation. Unfortunately, as we all know, this time it was for the worst reasons, and our hearts go out to the victims and the families and friends of this pointless tragedy.

There’s nothing we can really say that hasn’t been said already, but below we’ve listed 9 resources if you’d like to support the Buffalo Niagara community and bring a little love and light to our wounded city during this time.

Buffalo Community Fridges

Buffalo Community Fridges is a volunteer-led network of community fridges dedicated to giving Buffalo communities access to fresh & healthy food.

Rooted in Love Inc.

Rooted in Love Inc. brings aid the homeless and the less fortunate in disadvantaged communities within the WNY Area who need fresh produce, nonperishable foods and hygiene products.

Black Love Resists in the Rust

Black Love Resists in the Rust organizes at the intersections of embodied leadership, healing justice, political education and transformational organizing.

The Resource Council of WNY

The Resource Council of WNY operates the community center at 347 East Ferry and their goal is to bring stability, hope and inspiration to families they serve.
