Erie County Fair
August 9, 2023 - August 20, 2023
The Erie County Fair, held annually is the largest fair of it’s kind in New York State, and the 3rd largest county fair in the nation. It seeks to preserve and showcase our community’s agricultural traditions, talents, diversity and heritage. Come view the live animals, and visit their caretakers. Then head over to the James E. Strates Shows midway, with over 70 rides and 100 games. Enjoy continual entertainment on a number of stages, and then visit the food vendors, whose options range from the casual to the extraordinary!
In addition, the venue will pay tribute to veterans, active military and firefighters with special days designated for each. Firefighters and auxiliary members will receive free admission on Friday, Aug. 11. Veterans, auxiliary members and active military will receive free admission on Sunday, Aug. 13. Parking will be FREE in fairgrounds lots every day of the Erie County Fair.
In 2023, the 183rd Erie County Fair will be held Wednesday, August 9th – Sunday, August 20th!
The E.C.Fair is hosted by the Erie County Agricultural Society, which is a private, not-for-profit membership organization. Established in 1819, the society is the oldest civic organization in Western New York. ECAS’ mission is to preserve and enhance, by educational endeavors, the agricultural and historical legacy of New York State.
