If you’re craving a new skill, want some fire content for your IG stories, or just want to spice up date night then the Niagara Falls Culinary Institute’s Summer Sizzler Series is just for you.  This series, presented throughout the Summer at Niagara Fall’s Culinary Institute, offers a wide variety of classes that will entice your mind and tantalize your taste buds. With five different course topics that feature delicious samples and demonstrations, there is something for every palate.

Take Your Skills to the Next Level

On July 29th, check out “Fire & Ice”: The Science of Food where you’ll master Cherries Jubilee and learn about the science behind vanilla bean liquid nitrogen ice cream and flambé. You’ll leave with a dish to replicate at home and a newfound appreciation for how delicious science can be!

Learn how to make a sweet summer treat at Seasonal Sweetness: Summer Swiss Roll. This light and delicious dessert pairs sweet summer berries with whipped cream and exquisite sponge cake for a dessert centerpiece that will impress your guests. With just a few simple techniques, you can recreate this berry delicious treat that tastes as amazing as it looks. This course is being offered on July 1st and August 5th.

Do you ever find yourself bamboozled at dinner time wondering how to turn your potatoes into gnocchi? On July 8th and August 12th, you can experience Pantry Magic: Make Anything Possible. This course teaches you a delicious meal that uses common pantry and fridge items and it’s customizable so you can switch it up no matter what your pantry has to offer! This dish transforms the ordinary in your pantry into extraordinary and is a perfect way to get kids interested in the process of preparing a meal.

Do you know those tik-tok videos of really gorgeous cakes that look like they were super difficult to make?! Well, it’s not as difficult as it seems. Kitchen Artistry: Cake Decorating will leave you thinking cake decorating is a piece of cake!
