Buffalo Niagara’s Cigar Bars

When a good brew just won’t do you need a good cigar to go with it too! The modern-day cigar bar is one of the last vestiges of a time where you could smoke anywhere. Although I’m glad I don’t have to deal with second-hand smoke while I’m in the movie theater trying to watch a picture or out for a bite. I’ll admit that with the strict no-smoking rules present, everywhere nowadays, we’ve lost an aspect of community/bonding that the cigar bar can undoubtedly make up for. So dear reader, if you’ll generously give me a bit of your time, I’ll expand upon the importance of the many cigar bars in Buffalo Niagara.

It’s a given that alcohol can make even the meekest person into a flourishing social butterfly, and the blue smoke from a good cigar can make the bitterest of enemies into good friends, at least for a short while. These are common bar facts (keep in mind, though not actual facts, bar facts are still real, just in a different way).

With this in mind, it’s easy to see how cigar bars in Buffalo Niagara are great gathering places. It allows patrons the sense that they are being outlaws, bucking at society’s rules. It’s like by visiting such an establishment where the typical response to smoking anywhere but your house and Burning Man is always “no, no, no!”, you step into a welcoming place, and you finally get a resounding “yes!”

Partners in Crime and Having a Good Time

On the other hand, alcohol is so readily available in the U.S to the point all you have to do is imagine a liquor store and one will spontaneously appear in front of you. It’s nice to have a one-stop-shop to get your slightly darker pleasures because, let’s be honest, people drink and smoke because they like it, but also because there’s always a hint of the taboo with every puff you make and every sip you take. They’re two of the oldest vices known to man. They’re both eternal ways to pass the time, along with the fact that they never lose their luster because of this almost biblical sense of doing something wrong. And in all honesty, that’s what makes them fun.

With year-round festivals, exclusive perks, Buffalo Niagara’s largest walk-in humidor and much more, Buffalo Cigars is stiff cigar bar competition

In my experience, the cigar bar is a bit of a strange place by nature, in the sense that it always has to be more than it is. If you go to a cigar bar and it literally is just a nondescript bar on the edge of town that sells cigars, chances are it won’t be open long because it’s downright dull. A good establishment, such as a cigar bar in Buffalo Niagara, needs some sort of gimmick. Not one that’s so ludicrous as to become garish like a bar based around Fidel Castro (to anyone reading this, please don’t steal that idea and make it a reality, I promise you your only setting yourself up for failure), but something like a sophisticated business meeting or refined get-together, including leather lazy boy recliners, bar stools and flat-screen tvs.

It doesn’t have to be extravagant, but it needs some sort of panache that makes the customer feel like this is a better experience than the one I can have for myself at home. In simpler terms, people come for the good cigars and drinks, but they’ll stay for the atmosphere the place gives off. If you are looking for an example of such a place, consider one of Buffalo Cigars many locations!

Relax and Unwind

I can’t quite put my finger on the reason why cigars and drinks can add up to make a great combination, but it’s true. Perhaps it’s the levity that a good drink provides complemented by the confidence you subconsciously get as you blow blue smoke in the air (remember, smoking makes you look refined). That adds up to you becoming a social titan, able to mingle and chat like you were a 200-year-old aristocrat, or at the very least, gives you enough of a good feeling for you to forget your current worries and focus on having a good time.

Simply put, it’s the type of combo that makes sure you have a good time, but not too good, because you always want to maintain the refined air about you as you progress through the night. In their own way, cigars and alcohol are a bit like built-in checks and balances. (Keep in mind this is a theory. NOT a bar fact). A good time at one of the many reputable cigar bars in Buffalo Niagara always leaves you feeling relaxed and confident. Like you could step out and play a great hand of poker, with ice-cold nerves and a relaxed unreadable poker face.

Suppose your feeling like an outlaw one of these nights. Don’t stay home and listen to Waylon Jennings puffing away as you crack open a six-pack between song lyrics about fighting the man. If you’re feeling up to it, why not go to one of the cigar bars in Buffalo Niagara? Take the chance to brush up on your bar facts, drink, smoke and be merry in the company of strangers or friends.

As you gradually transform into a social butterfly, make sure you don’t overindulge— play it cool, after all, hell, I’m sure they’ll even play some Waylon Jennings if you ask them nicely to complete the outlaw experience. Just remember to always drink and smoke responsibly!
