Westside Gunn has transformed the representation and reputation of Buffalo, New York across the world by bringing positive vibrant energy through his artistic creation of Buffalo Kids, established in 2018. They are known to manufacture only the highest quality and limited availability of apparel, art and decor. They strive to “wow” all their customers and continue to impact and provide support to the youth of Buffalo. With an assortment of Buffalo sports t-shirts, sweatshirts and jerseys, Buffalo Kids has cultivated a unique apparel line that plans to take their virtual online store to Walden Galleria. Buffalo Kids is opening their first ever brick and mortar location in a 1,320 sq. ft. store on the lower level of the shopping center near Starbucks. The local lifestyle brand is opening on Friday, March 5.
Your New Favorite Rappers
Buffalo Kids was founded by rapper and Buffalo native, Westside Gunn, along with local rappers, Conway the Machine (brother) and Benny the Butcher (cousin). In 2014, Westside Gunn founded Griselda Records and clothing brand Fashion Rebels. Two years later after releasing his first commercial album, Griselda Records signed a music deal with Eminem Shady Records, a subsidiary of Interscope, establishing Westside Gunn and Conway the Machine as the first Buffalo rappers to ever sign with a major label.
The store will feature Buffalo Kids and Westside Gunn apparel, along with his wrestling company’s clothing line, Fourth Rope, and items from Griselda by Fashion Rebels. Plans are also in the works to host meet and greet events with celebrities, both national and local, inside the store. The Buffalo Kids brand has a strong online following within the local community, which owner Westside Gunn hopes to launch further at the area’s largest shopping center.

“This is one of the most exciting times of my life. Growing up in Buffalo, Walden Galleria has always been the premier shopping center. At age 14, I started designing clothing and I’ve always been taught the sky’s the limit,” says Westside Gunn. “I wanted to bring a lifestyle brand for the people and give them the highest quality garments at a high fashion designer level. I breathe art and this will give the city something to be proud of. I will do my best to provide experiences the town has never seen before.
