Special Events at Artpark this Summer!

Artpark is locally famous in Buffalo Niagara for hosting concerts, but did you know Artpark also has other events outside of their concert series? That’s right – there are plenty of engaging, creative experiences on the itinerary this summer, from art camps to live theatre, and even movie nights! Below, you will find a list of our favorite events happening this summer season.

Free Family Saturdays

Let’s be real – family entertainment can get expensive! Lucky for us, Artpark offers free admission and parking every Saturday in July. Kids will have fun interacting with self-directed art spaces that utilize clay, paint, costumes and sand. “Make and Take” themed workshops will take place, as well as live performances of children’s tales by the Niagara University Repertory Theatre.

Located in the Amphitheatre from Noon to 4 p.m. Themes include “Art of Transformation” on July 6th, “Art of Fantasy” on July 13th, “Art in Water” on July 20th, and “Art of the Game” on July 27th. Must be 4 feet tall to throw on the pottery wheel. N.U.R.T. performances will take place at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. for 40 minutes on the Key Stage. More details can be found here.
