Local Restaurant Week 2019 Is Back!

It’s that time of year again! WNY Local Restaurant Week 2019 is upon us. This biannual celebration allows locals and tourists alike to experience the best of Western New York’s culinary scene. With tons of restaurants participating, it can be difficult to decide just where to eat! Luckily, we selected some of our favorite spots below and highlight some amazing Local Restaurant Week menu items. WNY Local Restaurant week 2019 runs from April 1st to April 7th.

Buffalo Chophouse

The Buffalo Chophouse knows how to do steak and they’ve perfected fresh seafood, which is why we are really looking forward to all of their surf & turf options this LRW. You can see their complete LRW menu here.

Adam’s Rib

Adam’s Rib, a classic steak and seafood restaurant in the heart of Amherst, has been a staple in the community for 50 years. We are looking forward to seeing what they have in store for LRW.

Allen Street Hardware Cafe

Allen Street Hardware will be serving a delicious Chipotle chicken corn chowder soup for LRW that we are more than tempted to try. Check out the rest of their LRW menu here.

Gallo Coal Fire Kitchen

Gallo Coal Fire Kitchen is a gem in the heart of Lewiston. Their Coal Fire pizza is one-of-a-kind and they are also located in the same spot where the cocktail was invented! We’ll be having their prapatas (fried meatballs) and their penne ala vodka for LRW. You can see their complete LRW menu here.

 

 

Gallo Pizza

Alton’s Restaurant

Alton’s Restaurant, a casual family-friendly restaurant, is a great spot when you want to keep it simple and delicious. We know they won’t disappoint for Local Restaurant Week.

Asa Ransom House

Asa Ransom House, a charming country inn in Clarence, will be offering a delicious spinach and shrimp stuffed Sole for LRW. A filet of Sole stuffed with spinach and shrimp, topped with a lemon butter sauce. You can find complete details on their LRW menu here.

Gypsy Parlor

Gypsy Parlor is always a great spot for combining unique cocktails, delicious food, and a fun time. This LRW we’re excited to try their Miso Ramen and will be washing it all down with a Gypsy Juice Cocktail. You can see the rest of their Local Restaurant Week offerings here.

Chocolate Bar

You know the Chocolate Bar has sweet treats, but they also have a lot of great entree choices too. We’re excited to try their Chicken and Waffles for LRW. You can see Chocolate Bar’s complete Local Restaurant Week menu here.

Chef’s Restaurant

Chef’s Restaurant is a classic Italian joint that never skimps on the sauce. We’ll be ordering their Boneless Chicken Cacciatora with Spaghetti for LRW but you can see their complete menu for the week here.

Chez Ami

Chez Ami is a downtown favorite located inside the historic Curtiss Hotel. We can’t wait to try their Boneless Short Rib this Local Restaurant Week but you can find their complete menu for the occasion here.

Creekview Restaurant

Creekview Restaurant is located in a historic house overlooking the falls of Ellicott Creek and has been a village favorite for years. We know they’ll be serving up something delicious for Local Restaurant Week.

Ilio DiPaolo’s Restaurant & Banquet Facility

For over 50 years, Ilio DiPaolo’s Restaurant has been delighting us all with their delicious Italian cuisine and family-friendly ambiance. For LRW we’ll be ordering their Shrimp Nicotra, which features Cajun Shrimp with asparagus, fresh red Bell peppers and fresh mushrooms with a creamy Alfredo sauce served over Linguini. Fortuna’s Restaurant

Fortuna’s Restaurant is a classic Italian spot that has been part of the heart and soul of Niagara Falls for over 70 years. Their Eggplant Parmigiana is unreal and we’ll be having that for LRW. To see their complete LRW menu go here.

Local Kitchen + Beer Bar

Local Kitchen + Beer Bar features the best of local fare and beverages. We’ll be trying their Loaded Beef on Weck (classic beef on weck topped with queso, bacon and jalapenos) this Local Restaurant Week because it doesn’t get more local than a beef on weck! Lafayette Brewing Co.

Lafayette Brewing, located in the historic Hotel @ the Lafayette, not only has delicious craft beverages but they also serve up some pretty delicious chow too. We’re intrigued by their jerk chicken wings with a pineapple dipping sauce and can’t wait to try it. You can view the rest of their LRW lineup here.

Liberty Hound

Liberty Hound offers seafood and casual American cuisine, and we love when it’s warm enough to dine al fresco on their waterfront patio. We’re going to try their Seafood Platter for LRW and get our seafood fix. We also love their tuna nachos! You can see their complete LRW menu here.

Novel Restaurant

At Novel Restaurant you can always expect fresh seafood, handmade pasta, and unique cocktails. And the same goes for Local Restaurant Week. We’re going to have their buttermilk fried chicken for our LRW fix and you can select what you’ll have off their LRW menu here.

Parkway Prime Steakhouse & Lounge

Parkway Prime Steakhouse & Lounge is located at the DoubleTree by Hilton Niagara Falls and boasts a casual environment in the heart of Niagara Falls. We checked out their LRW menu and can’t help but crave their Lobster Mac & Cheese. You can see their entire Local Restaurant Week menu here.

Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino

Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino has not one, not two, but three delicious dining destinations participating in Local Restaurant Week. Koi, la Cascata, and Three Sisters all have unique menu items that look delicious. Click on each restaurant to see their LRW menu.

Tavern at Windsor Park

Tavern at Windsor Park has a very hometown feel and features American as well as English cuisine. We will definitley be having their classic Fish & Chips for LRW and you can view the other amazing items on their Local Restaurant Week menu here.

Share Kitchen & Bar Room

Share Kitchen & Bar Room offers delicious New-American cuisine as well as fine wines, cocktails and craft beers. We’ll have their chicken cutlet for LRW but you can check out their complete Local Restaurant Week menu here.

The Red Coach Inn

The Red Coach Inn is a cozy bed and breakfast in Niagara Falls that offers delicious cocktails and classic comfort food. We plan on trying their homemade meatloaf for LRW and you can view the rest of their Local Restaurant Week menu here.

The Eagle House Restaurant

As the oldest restaurant in Erie County, The Eagle House Restaurant has been providing comfort food to its patrons for quite a long time. And Local Restaurant Week will be no exception. We are looking forward to sampling whatever their LRW menu has to offer.

The Terrace at Delaware Park

The Terrace at Delaware Park is situated in the heart of Frederick Law Olmstead’s Delaware Park and The Buffalo History Museum district. We’re excited to try their Cauliflower & Lobster Bisque for LRW.  To see their complete Local Restaurant Week menu click here.
