Local Restaurant Week 2019 Is Back!
It’s that time of year again! WNY Local Restaurant Week 2019 is upon us. This biannual celebration allows locals and tourists alike to experience the best of Western New York’s culinary scene. With tons of restaurants participating, it can be difficult to decide just where to eat! Luckily, we selected some of our favorite spots below and highlight some amazing Local Restaurant Week menu items. WNY Local Restaurant week 2019 runs from April 1st to April 7th.
Surf and turf from Buffalo Chophouse
Adam’s Rib, a classic steak and seafood restaurant in the heart of Amherst, has been a staple in the community for 50 years. We are looking forward to seeing what they have in store for LRW.
Gallo Coal Fire Kitchen
Gallo Coal Fire Kitchen is a gem in the heart of Lewiston. Their Coal Fire pizza is one-of-a-kind and they are also located in the same spot where the cocktail was invented! We’ll be having their prapatas (fried meatballs) and their penne ala vodka for LRW. You can see their complete LRW menu here.
Alton’s Restaurant, a casual family-friendly restaurant, is a great spot when you want to keep it simple and delicious. We know they won’t disappoint for Local Restaurant Week.
Miso Ramen from Gypsy Parlor
Creekview Restaurant is located in a historic house overlooking the falls of Ellicott Creek and has been a village favorite for years. We know they’ll be serving up something delicious for Local Restaurant Week.
Ilio DiPaolo’s Restaurant & Banquet Facility
For over 50 years, Ilio DiPaolo’s Restaurant has been delighting us all with their delicious Italian cuisine and family-friendly ambiance. For LRW we’ll be ordering their Shrimp Nicotra, which features Cajun Shrimp with asparagus, fresh red Bell peppers and fresh mushrooms with a creamy Alfredo sauce served over Linguini. For their complete Local Restaurant menu click here.
Local Kitchen + Beer Bar
Local Kitchen + Beer Bar features the best of local fare and beverages. We’ll be trying their Loaded Beef on Weck (classic beef on weck topped with queso, bacon and jalapenos) this Local Restaurant Week because it doesn’t get more local than a beef on weck! You can see the rest of their LRW offerings here.
Lafayette Brewing Co.
Lafayette Brewing, located in the historic Hotel @ the Lafayette, not only has delicious craft beverages but they also serve up some pretty delicious chow too. We’re intrigued by their jerk chicken wings with a pineapple dipping sauce and can’t wait to try it. You can view the rest of their LRW lineup here.
Tuna nachos from Liberty Hound
Parkway Prime Steakhouse & Lounge
Parkway Prime Steakhouse & Lounge is located at the DoubleTree by Hilton Niagara Falls and boasts a casual environment in the heart of Niagara Falls. We checked out their LRW menu and can’t help but crave their Lobster Mac & Cheese. You can see their entire Local Restaurant Week menu here.
The Eagle House Restaurant
As the oldest restaurant in Erie County, The Eagle House Restaurant has been providing comfort food to its patrons for quite a long time. And Local Restaurant Week will be no exception. We are looking forward to sampling whatever their LRW menu has to offer.
The Terrace at Delaware Park
The Terrace at Delaware Park is situated in the heart of Frederick Law Olmstead’s Delaware Park and The Buffalo History Museum district. We’re excited to try their Cauliflower & Lobster Bisque for LRW. To see their complete Local Restaurant Week menu click here. They will also be having live jazz on Friday and Saturday night so don’t miss that!
