The Sounds of Summer
August 15, 2018

Is there anything better than live music and warm weather? We don’t think so! While we are busy soaking up the remaining summer days we thought we’d enjoy a few summer shows along the way. Below are five places that will delight your eardrums with live music in the weeks to come.

The Junk Yard Dogs sing the blues at Blue Wednesdays at Sunset Grill.

Sunset Bar & Grill

Enjoy music on the harbor at Sunset Bar and Grill in Wilson, NY! Taste their famous pot roast sandwich while you take in the beautiful serene views of the harbor, and listen to the sounds of some pretty incredible local talent. Got the end of summer blues? Well come to Sunset on Wednesday nights for Blues Wednesday from 6:00PM to 9:00PM. Sunset Also has live music Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. You can view their complete live music lineup here. We especially are excited for Nerds Gone Wild on September 1st!! We hear their music pairs nicely with Sunset’s incredible tuna nachos. 😉

The Terrace at Delaware Park

What’s better than Sunday brunch? Sunday brunch with live music! From now until September 2nd enjoy JazzBrunch Sundays at The Terrace at Delaware Park. Take in the beautiful landscape surrounding Delaware Park as you sip mimosas with your squad. Man, that sounds refreshing! Want another reason to visit the Terrace? Check out their Shrimp Boil on the Terrace on Thursday August 23rd and Thursday Aug 30th and enjoy live music and fresh seafood with a view! You can find all that info on all that jazz here and complete details on the shrimp boil here.

Enjoy the jazz and the view during JazzBrunch at The Terrace at Delaware Park.

Add a little cool to your summer with Kool and the Gang.

Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino

Want to hear some music that’s really cool? Check out Kool and the Gang at Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino on September 1st at 8:00 PM. Listen to classic songs like “Get Down on It” and “Ladies Night” while you get funky with your friends. Three Doors Down will also be performing at Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino on August 18th. (Trevor Noah will be there October 6th; we know he isn’t a musical act, but laughter is kind of like music, right?!) Find a complete list of upcoming acts here.

Osteria 166

Osteria 166 not only knows how to make a mean pork chop (seriously, you have to try the Roasted Pork Tomahawk with rhubarb puree and a roasted purple cauliflower head) they also know how to provide amazing entertainment with their live music lineup this August. Enjoy live music the entire month of August every Thursday and Friday. With drink specials, like $4.00 pints, we’re sure the music will sound better than ever! (And seriously, trust us on that pork chop) You can check out Osteria 166’s complete live music lineup here.

The Roasted Pork Tomahawk from Osteria 166 will have your tastebuds dancing too!
