The  Niagara Falls Culinary Institute

The Niagara Falls Culinary Institute is located in the heart of Niagara Falls mere steps from the wonder of the Falls. In addition to being a culinary institute of learning, the Niagara Falls Culinary Institute also has three delicious restaurants. Savor is their fine dining restaurant. La Patisserie is their confections and dessert shop where you can dine on specialties made by the students themselves. In addition to those dining options the NFCI also has a fantastic deli called Old Falls Street Deli. If you’re looking to grab a yummy and inexpensive lunch while you eat around Niagara Falls look no further than this classic New York deli.

755 Restaurant and Lounge

This Lebanese hot spot is giving Niagara Falls some much-needed flavor. With delicious hummus, and honestly the best rice I have ever had, it’s no surprise that this place has really taken off in the last few years. Their swanky bar downstairs is the perfect place for a glass of wine after stuffing your face with falafel. Their Lebanese coffee is quite good too. It’s a great family spot because not only do they offer authentic Lebanese cuisine but they also have American and Italian options and a kid’s menu as well. So there really is something for everyone.

DiCamillo Bakery

In 1920, with the help of their eleven children, Tomaso and Addolorata, DiCamillo opened their first bakery in Niagara Falls, New York.  Although DiCamillo’s has five locations, three happen to still be in Niagara Falls. When a business has been around that long you know they’re doing something right. From their romano pizza to their amazing peanut stick donuts, DiCamillo Bakery is the perfect stop for any meal of the day. And don’t forget to take home a loaf of their delicious bread!

Pho Golden

This place is a truly authentic Vietnamese restaurant in Niagara Falls. Not only is the food delicious, but the service is exceptional too. You can tell the people at Pho Golden take pride in everything they make. I also love that they’re open until 10:00pm, which for this area is pretty late. If you’re looking for something new to eat around Niagara Falls, then give Pho Golden a try!

Bella Vista Ristorante

Located in the Four Points by Sheraton Niagara Falls resort Bella Vista Ristorante’s inventive menu  is filled with homemade favorites. Furthermore, they only use the freshest ingredients while preparing everything from homemade pizza to hand rolled pasta.  Have a boat? Well then pull it right up and enjoy lunch on their river front patio. Don’t have a boat? Well you can still enjoy their wonderful patio and view. With live music on Friday nights along with their breathtaking view, Bella Vista Ristorante is bringing some life back to Niagara Falls.

Frankie’s Donuts & Pizza

I absolutely love Frankie’s Donuts and Pizza.  Frankie has been making donuts for over three decades and you can taste the experience in each bite. You can find Frankie at Frankie’s Donuts everyday.  Obviously, his presence ensures excellent customer service. And Frankie’s has a lot more than just donuts and pizza. In addition to donuts and pizza they serve wings, subs, salads and sandwiches too. Frankie’s is always open, so if you’re ever hungry at 2AM you know where to go! Frankie likes to say that they’re open 25/8 so anytime is the perfect time to visit Frankie’s Donuts and Pizza while you eat around Niagara Falls.

So next time you’re in Niagara Falls and don’t know where to eat just stop by one of these gems. Furthermore, next time you hear someone talk trash about Niagara Falls cuisine show them this blog and educate them on what Niagara Falls has to offer. In conclusion, if we want Niagara Falls to get the credit it deserves, then each of us needs to support locally owned businesses. Especially businesses that work so hard to provide excellent service and quality products. So be the change you wish to see and support these local businesses to help the Falls rise again!
